Grainger plc spent six months consulting with the local community and stakeholders on the proposals for Wards Corner. Over 11,000 households, businesses and local groups were invited to attend a first exhibition, held on site, in July 2007. During the two days over 350 people visited the exhibition and viewed the proposals with their feedback helping to shape the final application.

In addition to the July exhibition a number of meetings were held with the Tottenham Civic Society and local residents’ associations. A newsletter updating the community on the scheme was then sent to over 11,000 households and local businesses in the area in November 2007.

A second exhibition took place in February & March 2008 for the local community to view the proposals which have now been submitted as part of the planning application.
